Meet Toni

Hi there! I’m Toni! If you don’t know me already, you must be new around here! 🥳 Welcome! 🙌
(Please make sure you say hey below! 😉 I love connecting with people.)

I’m the Owner of this incredible place and one of the Beginner Pole Instructors. I’m also a Mum, coffee addict ☕️ , chocoholic 🍫 , nerdy Social Media Manager 👩‍💻 (@ToniJordanDigital), op-shop/bargain finding enthusiast and a creative who LOVES to organise and learn. I know, I’m weird!

Get to know me more below! 👇

I am a Mum of 3 crazy kidlets (Girl, Boy, Girl) and a bit of a mixed bag of fun! I’m a qualified Primary School & Music Teacher (who decided teaching in schools wasn’t for me), a Singer/Songwriter (🎹🎙 On Spotify/Apple Music if you’re curious), recently started my own business as Social Media Manager helping busy business owners during the day, and then I light up the night at The Neon Loft! When I’m not working, I may be getting stronger lifting at @BundyFit, doing Mum things, thinking about working 🤦‍♀️ or enjoying a delicious cocktail! 🍹

It all started 13 years ago at my Hens party when my fav gals and I celebrated with a Pole Dance Class! It was so much fun, so much harder than I’d expected and we made a tonne of great memories. Many years later, after I had my third child, I was searching for a way to ‘find myself’ again , get fit and tone my post 3 pregnancies body and have some Me-Time. I got a second hand pole and practiced as much as I could off apps and videos in my garage until I decided to find a studio to really get into it. That was not quite 4 years ago! Time flies! 💜

💖 𝐃𝐨 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐚 𝐝𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞/𝐠𝐲𝐦𝐧𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐬 𝐛𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝?
I was a dancer when I was young. Jazz, Tap, Hip-Hop, Contemporary/Lyrical. I do wish I’d done gymnastics because I’d LOVE to be more flexible but I am so grateful for the opportunities I had…. I have enjoyed performing on stages for as long as I can remember as a singer, dancer and actress. I still love to dance! 💃

💖 𝗪𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐟𝐚𝐯𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐛𝐞𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧 𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫?
Seeing students grow in self-awareness, confidence, fitness and light up each class. Celebrating their wins. Pushing through. Seeing themselves differently from when they started. It’s truly empowering!

💖 𝗪𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐝𝐨 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐰𝐢𝐬𝐡 𝐩𝐞𝐨𝐩𝐥𝐞 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐩𝐨𝐥𝐞?
Try it out before you judge. And although it can be sexual, it isn’t always. I try to encourage people to flip their thinking from automatic strip clubs and sexualisation, to gymnastics, circus acts and athleticism.

Most of the time people who have issues with what I do, would happily watch performers in gymnastics, ice skating or circus acts – wearing less clothing! In saying that, it absolutely can be sensual, sexual and erotic too and I don’t see anything wrong with that either. 🤷‍♀️

My mission is to shift the focus in our studio from the skin/figure that is showing (which is actually to grip the pole, so we don’t fall and die 😂) to the strength, control and finesse the moves require, whilst attempting gracefulness and flow!

Pole is about so much more than people know until they’ve experienced it or know someone that has. Hope to see you all soon at The Neon Loft.
